Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Nateo handles, why, and the rights you have. Nateo is deliberately built to need very little personal data: this website tracks nothing, and the widgets keep your content inside your own Wix site.

Who we are

Nateo is operated by datadir s. r. o., Bauerova 1205/7, 040 23 Košice, Slovakia (the “operator”, “we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the limited processing described in this policy. For any privacy question or request, email hello@datadir.co.

What this policy covers

This policy covers two things: the Nateo website (nateo.datadir.co) and the Nateo widgets you add to your Wix site. It does not cover Wix itself — the data inside your Wix account is governed by your own agreement with Wix.

The Nateo website

This website is a static site served from a European content-delivery network (Bunny.net, operated by BunnyWay d.o.o., Slovenia). It sets no cookies and runs no analytics, tracking, advertising, or fingerprinting. Our content-delivery provider keeps standard server access logs (your IP address, the time of the request, and the page or file requested) for a short period so the site can be operated and kept secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functioning, secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The Nateo widgets on your Wix site

Nateo widgets run inside your own Wix site. Any content you configure — for example testimonials or announcements — is stored in your site’s own Wix data collections, under your control, and is not copied to or stored on our servers. We do not collect your site visitors’ personal data, and we do not place cookies through the widgets. To apply the correct plan, the widget reads your app’s entitlement (whether it is the free tier or a paid plan) from the app instance that Wix provides at runtime; this does not require a separate Nateo account, login, or password. If you configure a widget to show content that contains personal data (such as a customer’s name in a testimonial), you are the controller of that content and are responsible for having a lawful basis to display it.

If you contact us

If you email us, we use your email address and the contents of your message to respond and to keep a record of the correspondence. The legal basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in handling enquiries (Art. 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR). We keep this correspondence for up to 12 months after the matter is closed.

Who processes data for us

• BunnyWay d.o.o. (Slovenia) — hosting and content delivery for this website.
• Wix.com Ltd. — the platform on which your Wix site, and the Nateo app, run. Wix acts as your site’s own processor; your agreement with Wix governs the data handled inside your Wix account.

International transfers

The website’s infrastructure is hosted in the European Union, and we do not transfer website personal data outside the European Economic Area. The Wix platform on which the widgets run may process data under your own agreement with Wix, including any transfer mechanisms Wix relies on.

How long we keep data

Website access logs are kept for about 14 days. Contact correspondence is kept for up to 12 months. We retain no analytics data, because we collect none.

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the limited data we handle. A static website with no accounts, no databases of user data, and no tracking is a deliberately small attack surface.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction, or deletion of your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and receive your data in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@datadir.co. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority — in Slovakia, the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky).

Children

Nateo is a business tool and is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Nateo evolves. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version; where changes are material, we will make that clear.
